The best part of my role at Newton is the community relations and coordinating our community involvement in all of the non-profit organizations that we either co-sponsor or provide services for in and around The Woodlands. At Newton Design we participate in many events in many capacities and we fully believe in Zig Ziglar’s famous quote “you will always get what you want out of life if you help enough other people get what they want out of life”. It is our goal to seek out organizations that could really benefit from our expertise and we partner with them to fulfill their needs not ours. I think that statement among a few other things really motivates the team at Newton Design and Marketing to strive for greatness and provide outstanding results. Admittedly it makes us all look good but our priority is making the organization look good.
Personally, I like to have the open forums to display the team’s technical and creative abilities. For instance; last year we provided the video for The Woodlands Idol for the people’s choice voting; which gave us the opportunity to introduce text to vote for each of the events. Due to the success of the text to vote we are expanding it this year to display the results in real time!!! This technological advancement steps up the game for the Chamber of Commerce and Idol contestants as well as removes the need for the video. (you can still look forward to seeing video of the Semi Finals at The Crighton Theatre on November 7th. )
Another event we proudly co-sponsor is the Women Inspiring Supporting and Empowering Conference. This year we have the opportunity to set up all of the audio visual needs for the conference such as video monitors, video playback, and live audio set up. Net proceeds from the conference benefit Montgomery County Emergency Assistance. MCEA and Newton have an existing relationship as MCEA has selected Newton for their new branding campaign. We are very proud of our sponsorship of the WISE conference, and look forward to remaining involved for years to come. This is a value for the conference and it allows us to display our ability to live broadcast which is not something we get a lot of opportunity to do but we are really good at it! Last year we provided the same service to the “Open your purse for a Change” event benefitting the Montgomery County Women’s Center. We had the pleasure of creating and providing a 3 ½ minute video for the event that brought something tangible to the donors and help provide a clearer understanding of The Montgomery County Women’s Center’s goals.
We participate in both annual and monthly events; such as our monthly Woodlands Area Ladies Night out AND Tomball Area Ladies Night both are produced by Newton Design and both are monthly fundraisers for Interfaith of the Woodlands and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministry respectively. Each month a different type of fundraiser is customized to the need of our host organizations ranging from school supplies to children’s clothing and non perishable food.
Woodlands Area Ladies Night is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at various locations and Tomball Area Ladies Night is held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Empty Glass. Whether it be a new website, branding, aerial video or other such need, Newton Design & Marketing has the experience and the talent to bring the WOW for you and your clients.
