The Bright Side of Small Business Marketing

If you’re reading this, you’re on the right track. It’s a track that we’d hope most small business owners were on, but that’s not the case. You’re business is probably your baby. If it’s not your baby then it’s most likely your livelihood. Then why not treat it like you see it?

Some small businesses leave marketing and design out of their budget to cut costs. When this happens, they’re hindering their progress to grow and generate revenue. Marketing is what let’s the world know you’re there. Through services like website design, SEO, and social media management, you’ve got the best online marketing trifecta to get your business going with a bang.

In the chance you’re a little unclear what makes this online marketing trifecta so perfect, we’ll break it down for you.

1. Website Design

Okay, we hope this is obvious. The website you have is the digital face of your brand or business. It’s more than just a face actually. It’s the head and torso. It’s what give your costumers information on how to contact your, your services or products available, new information, and who YOU are! It doesn’t have to ever be too intricate. Just give the right information and that’s what matters. Your website should also be responsive (mobile friendly). Not all websites are created to do so initially and if yours isn’t it can be very bad for business! How you ask? Let’s move on to SEO.

2. SEO

Search Engine Optimization. You might have heard of this before. What is does is take keywords from your website so when a certain phrase is typed into a search engine, it triggers the search engine in a ‘look at me’ sort of way for the searcher to find you. These are the limbs of your marketing trifecta. They help wave down the search engines. There’s a whole algorithm involved that includes link building and credibility. This is done by putting yourself out there through reviews, articles, pictures, videos and social media, which help generate traffic to your website.

3. Social Media Management

Social media ties into the SEO. The more present you are on social media the easier it will be for the search engine to essentially find your website and pick it out of the crowd easier to bring it to the top of the results list. However there is a strategy and it’s not just posting funny pictures. There is a lot of planning and thinking that goes into creating the perfect content to share on your social media profiles from editorial calendars to content research and curation. Social media is the fingers to your body of marketing.

Lucky for you, we provide help in all these areas at Newton Design and Marketing. As an entire package or individual packages. We are here to help you find a solution. Contact us today at 888.552.7475 or at info@designbynewton.com.
